2020年2月21日 · I’m looking for opinions about the Hana EH/EL vs the Sumiko Blue Point Special EVO III, as well as impressions of the high vs low output versions of the EVO III. There have been many opinions on-line where the BPS has been found to be shrill and forward but it seems like (but maybe not) these were based on running it into 47K.

Has anybody here had some experience with the BPS Evo. III? What does its sound look like? Is the sound different from the first generation? Better, the same, or worse? Thanks.

2006年8月8日 · I'm not changing a single thing in my main system. What I'm doing is adding another TT, and I'm thinking that since I know and love what a BPS EVO III brings to the table, perhaps the Blackbird is even more illuminating, with the boron cantilever rather than the aluminum. I honestly can't feature another cartridge being more revealing than what ...

Looking to buy Blue Point Special Evo III - Vinyl Engine
2013年3月24日 · to echo the above comments: I owned one Sumiko Blue Point Special EVO III and enjoyed its recognizable semi-bright dry sound. But I enjoy my Denon DL-110 better for its more natural sound. In MY book it is a hugely more attractive purchase, at about less than half the cost of the EVO III. Regards, bauzace50

Sumiko Blue Point No. 3? - Vinyl Engine
2021年2月18日 · But I would expect a Blue Point Special Evo IV if the No.2 comes closer to the Evo III in sound. Maybe it’s only the current No.2 in a new more resonance damped shell, maybe they also tweaked the generator and suspension.
