EPRI | GridEd - The Center for Grid Engineering Education
GridEd is a workforce development initiative that seeks to develop and train the next generation of power engineers and data scientists so that they can help shape the electric grid of the future by anticipating and fulfilling the needs of changing requirements.
EPRI Home
EPRI's recently launched Grid-Enhancing Technologies for a Smart Energy Transition (GET SET) Initiative aims to support the testing and demonstration of grid-enhancing technologies to learn and share lessons for operational cost reductions, life expectancy, and reliability.
EPRI | GridEd - The Center for Grid Engineering Education
GridEd's short course program trained existing professional engineering staff on topics to prepare them to design and operate the grid of the future. Regular and sustained course offerings were derived from surveys and regular feedback from GridEd utility industry advisors.
EPRI’s Grid-Enhancing Technologies for a Smart Energy Transition (GET SET) Initiative aims to support the planning, integration, acquisition, operation, and implementation of Dynamic Line Ratings (DLR), Advanced Conductors, Advanced Power …
Smart Grid Resource Center - EPRI
The EPRI Enterprise Architecture and Integration (161E) project set provides utility specific guidance on establishing and improving an Enterprise Architecture capability that is committed to evolving your enterprise toward these four objectives. • Organizational Alignment • Information Availability • Portfolio Optimization
Grid Forming Inverter Models - PSCAD
These models were developed by EPRI in collaboration with University of Illinois Urbana Champaign (UIUC), University of Washington (UW), and University of Minnesota (UM). The model has two 100 MVA PV Models, which can be grid following or grid forming, and a very simple power system between them, to which faults can be applied.
Grid Forming Inverters: EPRI Tutorial (2021)
What is grid-forming inverter and why is it needed? What are its performance requirements? How to model grid-forming inverters in EMT and RMS domain? Can grid-forming inverters be the first black start resource? EPRI research results and example real-world use cases are included to facilitate the understanding of concepts.
EPRI Home
The Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) conducts research, development, and demonstration projects for the benefit of the public in the United States and internationally.
EPRI | SmartGrid Resource Center
Specifically, measures to ensure cyber security must be designed and implemented to protect the electric grid from attacks by terrorists and hackers, and to strengthen grid resilience against natural disasters and inadvertent threats, such as equipment failures and user errors.
EPRI GO&P Resource Center - EPRI GO&P Resource Center - gridops.epri…
EPRI's Grid Operations & Planning resource center is the home for several grid operations & planning web-based resources and deliverables. Access to each deliverable depends on membership of projects that host deliverables on this site.
