2011年1月27日 · The auto tranny in the E46 328i/ci from start of production (6/98) up to 5/2000 is the GM 5L40 when the 328i/ci was replaced by the 330i/ci. The auto tranny in the 325xi & 330xi from start of production (8/00) until the end was the GM. The Xi never got the ZF transmission.

2008年4月4日 · E90 330i has a GS6-37BG and GS6-37BZ both listed. They were deployed at different times based on the dates, but they're presumably interchangeable since the same driveshaft is used with both transmissions. Of course in this case the Getrag one is actually labeled GS6-37BG, so it's probable that the ones listed under the 330i are all made by ZF.
