There were just two of them: Oscold and Dyre (probably brothers), who came to Rus with Rurik and then split off and ruled over Kiev until 882, when they were slain by grand prince Oleg the Seer. They did not really achieve anyting great and Dyre was not the son of Halfdan Whiteshirt.

Feb 11, 2022 · I'm guessing Dyre got included in this since he is Ragnar's grandson and I would guess that since he is already landed at the start of the game having a second child is what causes the event to trigger have him change his dynasty. As far as I know, the only way to change your dynasty is to be a bastard founder so his son can't change with him.

When Dyre has a second child, he becomes a bastard founder of a new dynasty and loses the trait bastard, but Halfdan stays a member of House Oskldr. If the child is a daughter, the "No hier of your dynasty" game over warnign will appear

Feb 9, 2022 · Dyre's 'Oskyldr' dynasty is part of the Sigurdr tree instead of being disinherited. As such, when he has a second son, his first son becomes the head and only member of Oskyldr, while Dyre and his new son get a new randomized dynasty under the "Bastard Founder" mechanics. Please explain how to reproduce the issue 1.

I took Roma from the Pope, then independant counts in Sicily, then Latium, and I'm going for a roman revival with his descendants. I'd like to know more about this character. I read some articles here and there but always find the same datas that appears to be taken from wikipedia.

Jan 3, 2020 · Dyre is a genius... other traits are not as good as rurik or his heir but if you manage to pass that to his dynasty its a great boon. Trouble is his neighbors are nomads so if they even decide to pillage your lands say goodbye to your wife and children. worse if they decide to conquer land from you its almost imposible to defend at early game.

Feb 21, 2022 · Due to Jarl Dyre being a bastard of the Sigurdr Dynasty he will often become a Bastard Founder, of his own Dynasty. The problem with this, is that he first born son, doesn't join his Dynasty. So not only do you need to have a new heir in that time.
