Droki was a notorious criminal courier transporting goods for many gangs and cabals in Gracklstugh. During the demonic crisis that struck the Underdark in the late 1480s DR, he had commissions for the Gray Ghosts thieves guild and for a secret cult of demon -worshiping derro.

Droki deals an extra 7 (2d6) damage when he hits a target with a weapon attack and has advantage on the attack roll, or when the target is within 5 feet of an ally of Droki that isn't incapacitated and Droki doesn't have disadvantage on the attack roll.

Finding Droki If the characters are on a quest to find Droki, read the following boxed text when his path crosses with theirs. The dirty derro is easy to recognize: a pale face under a floppy hat. fitted with two tentacle-like things that bob up and down in time with his brisk pace.

Living in Gracklstugh, Droki is a Derro criminal who is wanted by major factions due to him engaging in trade with a demon worshiping cult. Droki hates everyone, and in particular those who come from above the Underdark.

Without nudging your players into particular actions, there are many ways you can set Droki up so the characters can have the best chance to catch him. I will enumerate them broadly and leave you to the idea-generation:

Gartokkar knows that the derro Droki is a Gray Ghost messenger and supplier. He orders the PC’s to tail him, recover the egg, and bring back proof of the magic the Gray Ghosts are using. If they are successful he can let them go.

Droki makes two attacks with his shortsword. Shortsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit:6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage. The sword is coated with serpent venom that wears off after the first hit.
