Storytellers using the art of drag to read books to kids in libraries, schools, and bookstores. DSH captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models.

Drag Story Hour (DSH) was created by Michelle Tea and RADAR Productions, under the leadership of Julián Delgado Lopera and Virgie Tovar, in San Francisco in 2015. It started out as drag queens reading stories to children in libraries and grew into a global phenomenon!

There are drag queens, drag kings, drag princes, and drag princesses—anyone can be any of the above, regardless of how they identify in everyday life! All that matters is that, when you dress up, you feel comfortable and creative.

Pickle is LA’s premier live-singing Drag Queen and Host! Pickle was a champion on Discovery Channel’s Dodgeball Thunderdome. Pickle has been featured in national ad campaigns for Dollar Shave Club and Gilead Truvada, as well as a guest star spot on Tyler Perry’s Sistas.
