2016年3月18日 · I've only ever played the normal Q-Tron, it is a really funky, juicy souding filter, much much better than the DR Q IMO. I definetly recommend that you try one asap!

2007年4月11日 · from what I know is that the Q tron is much better, while the DR q (both are the same, just different casing) is rather harsh, lifeless and sterile sounding. IMO the dr. q sounds terrible. Very Harsh. The qtron is better. The best is tone factor analogue filter .

Can't really recommend the Dr. Q, but the Mini Q-Tron and the FX25 are pretty awesome. The Mini Q-Tron may be a bit more versatile, but the FX25(old Kermit Green ones) have that wonderful funk "croak" sound. I would say maybe try to get an old big box Q-Tron + or anything reputable that's based on the MuTron circuit.

2020年2月11日 · The Q-Tron is an envelope filter which effectively “filters” whatever’s put into it into that sound we all know. The pedal is designed in a way that responds incredibly well to humbuckers because the output is higher and it has more to filter and not so well to single coils as they’re usually lower output.

2010年5月22日 · Dr.Q= Super lame for bass no matter how you spin it. Not designed for bass and not flexible enough to be made to work well for bass. If you like the M82, by all means get it, but don't judge the MicroQtron based on the Dr.Q.

2021年11月30日 · The only difference between the two big box versions is the q tron+ has an effects loop, where you could add a phaser for example or maybe a dirt pedal. Here’s a video that talks about how to do the r32 “Jerry” mod and also a master volume mod for the pedal.

2022年9月26日 · Debating between the EHX nano qtron and the Keeley Neutrino v2. Haven’t seen any direct comparisons between these two, wondering if anyone here has had the pleasure of playing both. While I’ve only watched demos for Qtron, I own a Neutrino and believe you’ll find more versatility with the Neutrino. I don’t have a Qtron.
