Would love to know what you all think of the recipe and would like to know, because of the water profile here in Albuquerque, NM, is there any kind of adjuncts I should add to the Mash like Gypsum. I'm looking to make a piney, earthy type of IPA. Like northwest style.

2022年4月26日 · Not quite a double but came out well around 7%. Very tasty, if a little rushed as it went from grain to glass in a week! all finished on the day though and provided good conversation at a bbq. Cheers!

2011年11月27日 · I'm hooked on Double IPAs after trying a few really good ones recently. Oddly, I haven't been able to find a straightforward enough extract recipe to try brewing one. Any suggestions on places to get such a recipe are much appreciated. I've been told that double IPAs are basically just doubling the ingredients of a standard IPA recipe.

2010年11月21日 · I brewed a Double IPA about a month ago, it's about 11.5% and 150 IBUs. I am curious how long I should condition this beer. I know for high gravity brews like barleywines it's best to age them for a year or longer, but I wasn't sure if the same is true for DIPAs.

2020年9月1日 · I want to brew my first Double New England IPA with three "C-hops": Citra, Columbus and Centennial (because I have these laying around). Normally I brew 20 liters/5 gallons batches but this recipe is for 15 liter/4 gallons. The recipe is inspired on some articles I've read and other recipes. I'm curious to see what you think of this recipe.

2012年8月5日 · I'm making a double ipa. OG is 1.084 the ibu's are 94 and the final gravity is calculated at 1.020. That seems way too high. I was thinking about mashing at 145 and adding a lb of sugar to raise the abc and lower the final gravity. Is this a good way to approach this issue. I'm looking for...

2019年3月4日 · Context: I brewed an american IPA which had an OG of 1.064 and calculated IBUs of 77.9 (including whirlpool additions). The beer turned out great and did very well in comps. Now Im wanting to scale this up to a double IPA with an OG of 1.075, and Im seeing some things that Im getting confused...
