Jun 13, 2022 · The reason Google shows you that is because Double Black's soukoku (双黒) is not really a common word in Japanese but was sort of created by Asagiri Kafka as the name of Dazai and Chuuya's team (possibly using that specific combination of kanji and name to make a pun with 相克, which means rivalry, to depict their dynamic.)

"Double black" comes pretty close to it, but I feel like it doesn't completely encompass it. The "双 (そう/sou)" translates to pair and is also used in the word for "twins" (which is where that whole "twin darkness" translation comes from), and "黒 (こく/koku)" translates to black or, more metaphorically, darkness.

Feb 15, 2022 · Just wondering about this. Chuuya is already one of the strongest fighters in the bsd world, so I'm guessing Fukuchi would already have trouble fighting him. And if he tries to use his time hacks, that's where Dazai comes in to think of a counter plan in advance. Not to mention Dazai's nullification as well...
