2020年12月21日 · Jay gave the Doge 7 "the best DAC award last month along with the Pontus" and yesterday on their yearly awards, he gave the "Best price no object - component award of the year" to Doge 7 tube DAC and take note, among its competitors were the Denafrips Pontus and Terminator+. 2017年10月28日 · I see this is an older thread, but I just bought a Doge 7 DAC. I have had it for about 2 weeks. The tubes that come with it are satisfactory but not particularly good at anything. I started by rolling in 4 Gold Lion 12AX7s. The change was clearly for the better. I am going to roll in 4 12AT7s this week.

2019年2月14日 · Like most products, the Doge 7 comes stock with less than high end or, shall we say, just basic tubes. In the case of the Doge, it's Shuguang 12AX7s and 12AT7s. 4 a shot for a total of 8. The stock tubes were just fine and nothing more. I expected them to be shrill or something, but I should've known better.

2020年11月11日 · The Doge 7 DAC (at ~$1,400 new) would be a good choice that is (cost wise) in between the Schiit and Lampi. Disclosure: I had owned the Doge 8 preamp at one point and was impressed with its performance, although it is highly susceptible to tube rolling.

2024年4月30日 · I get the Doge 7 DAC is nice - heard it and meh. Prima Luna Tube Dac - sounds ok. But this AR DAC3 has been sticking in my mind because of it being Tube, 6922 Russian Tube. And balanced. Not looking for a dac with tubes soldered to the board.
