The Ultimate Frisbee Association (UFA) is a professional ultimate league in North America. [1] The league comprises 24 teams divided between the South, Central, East, and West divisions. Each UFA season has 12 regular season games which run from April to July.

The Ultimate Frisbee Association (UFA)was founded in 2012, originally known as the American Ultimate Disc League (AUDL). The UFA strives to maintain ultimate’s rich history, with their 24 franchises embodying the robust spirit of ultimate's players, fans, and community alike.

The PDGA believes that providing league play to each respective area is a great avenue for strengthening not only each local disc golf club, but also the sport of disc golf in general. We also realize that these leagues could not function without the countless hours put forth from each club.

The association formed a partnership with Sport Dimension Inc. (SDI), which owns Wham-O and the Frisbee® trademark, and now has an official license to use the word Frisbee in its name and marketing.
