I am having a hard time seeing the justification for trying to go all original. Are there any downsides to modernizing things? Can I get the cone button LEDs to light up with the Jamma harness?

At one point was converted to a different game but still has number matching transformer and monitor and cabinet. It has a large portion of the original wiring but is running a jamma harness with adapter to an original dig dug board.
