2013年8月21日 · If the picture is evidence of any thing than it tells me that axe is no side axe and since that seems to be a term in dispute I'll say a true single beveler. We only need pay attention to the eye section itself in the photo and disregard the blade part which as square says it "looks" all skewed and stuff. Clearly there is symmetry 'round the eye.

2016年7月22日 · One suggestion don’t use grinders to sharpen the blades use a bench type belt sander. Then follow up with a hand held diamond flat file. You can make these old relics into razor sharp edges and even take out most damage areas to the blade if it has some. The axe head itself I use a brass wire wheel followed by rubbing down the head with gun oil!!
