1. Coding DSC On code the DSC, vehicle-specific data records are selected (e.g. size of the brakes). At the same time, the data for coding for the steering column switching center is stored and transferred across the F-CAN to the SZL (not on the M5/M6). This means that if the SZL is replaced the DSC control module also has to be coded.

DSC uses brake actions and engine intervention to influence longitudinal and lateral dynamics. 2021年1月20日 · For some reason 2002 MK60 modules are notorious for going bad and needing replacement. Coding the replacement DSC module is quite easy once you know how and have BMW Standard Tools correctly set up. You don’t directly code the VIN. I would get a used DSC module from a 2004+ 330i or 330Ci as the newer ones have less issues.

DSC III MK60 is supplied by Continental Teves and supersedes the Teves DSC III MK20 EI system. The MK60 includes all of the features of the previous system and incorporates two additional functions: Reduction in size of the control unit/hydraulic Unit. 2020年4月14日 · MK60 from the ZCP/CSL is the same as above, but has slightly less invasive ABS thresholds, uses a different button than DSC to enable MTM, and can be reflashed with the BMW Bosch Motorsports race firmware (though you lose DSC when doing this, so not a great move for cars that see any street use) by a couple people in the know.

2017年7月7日 · Of the cars listed on my profile: the 323 has the Teves Mk20 DSC3 unit, the 325 has the Teves Mk60 DSC system, and the 540 has the Bosch 5.7 DSC system. So I'd recommend just fixing it yourself. You could retrofit but you'd spend a lot of time wiring and coding to get a unit that's really not worth the hassle IMO. It's not broken.

The DSC Mk60 is fitted on vehicles with 4-cylinder engines. The DSC Mk60E5 is fitted on vehicles with 6-cylinder engines. A variant of the DSC Mk60E5 is fitted in the E60 M5. 2022年9月10日 · When I replaced the rear brake lines I had to also replace the mk60 entirely as the threads in the female line ports were butchered beyond what I feel safe using and the original was reading an internal fault code too.
