2013年12月27日 · In general I don't mind grindy play - as long as I'm enjoying the game :) But some elements in DQ9 are annoying me :( (I think that penalising the player for changing classes is a little off putting) I might stick with it, but I'm starting to feel tired of the game :(–

2022年5月24日 · Paladin's unique tree, Virtue, is pretty broken. It gives you +100 defence and +80hp on all classes for 100 skill points, which is amazing for every class.

2021年9月24日 · Just leveling each vocation to level 20 or so by hunting metal slimes will let you go from 0 to 100 in at least 4 skills I believe. There are other methods that may work better, but that method was my favorite.

2017年1月2日 · First of all, I presume you mean changing vocation, rather than revocation - revocation allows you to reset your level in a job from level 99 to level 1, allowing you to earn more skill points from it.

So this game splits up leveling jobs into levels that earn you skill points. These points carry over from. Changing classes, so when you unlock Alltrades Abby, level a bunch of jobs to 10 to snag a bunch of points, pump it into skills in the class that you want to use. Many people mention shield skill and I agree, its great.

2022年10月26日 · DQ9's main issue is the xp curve for leveling demanded you to farm metal slimes. And while the game gives you all the tools to get that done easy, it's not exactly fun. And your typical non-metal slime mobs felt unrewarding in comparison. I played the game emulated and used cheat codes to bump xp gained by x5 or so. It made the grind much smoother.
