2023年7月1日 · A Ga Dotatate PET-CT is a good scan for NETs that are metabolically active. If the NET is showing in hormone markers, it will probably show on the scan. Less accurate for NETs that are non-functional.

I was sick for eleven years before I had an intestinal blockage in 2018 and they found a neuroendocrine tumor - which had never shown up on multiple CTs. In 2020 I went to Mayo in Phoenix for a consult and the Dotatate scan, which showed lesions scattered throughout my body.
Dotatate lights only in liver, but report says metastatic to liver?
2024年10月14日 · Dotatate PET/CT found multiple lesions in the liver consistent with metastatic lesions. Anyone else had similar findings? Dotatate says metastatic but does not show any lesions but in the liver. Biopsy does not mention metastatic. From my reading 4x3 cm seems large but nothing was seen in scan 2 years ago, so does it grow that fast?

High or Fluctuating Chromogranin A Level: What does it mean?
2020年4月24日 · Dotatate scan positive area pancreas and octreo scan showed abdominal and pelvis masses. 1 MRI done after all the lab and positive nuclear scans says nothing there. I am so afraid that with all the positives they are missing something that lab scans say is there.
