2019年12月7日 · I purchased some of the Telluric Group IR zero targets for the DBAL I2 (9007 model) top mounted. Below is a picture of the target. How will this target work since the laser is on the right side of the barrel and the reflective tape is to the left of the zero circles? Am I missing something super obvious? 2015年2月16日 · There is a new DBAL-i2 that is coming out that replaces the visible laser with an IR illuminator. The DBAL-a3 has the slaved laser plus the IR illuminator, with the slaved laser making zeroing really simple when changing between different rifles. Just align the vis laser with your dayscope zero and you will be very close to on target.

2018年8月16日 · Its GREAT at 25 yards, barely usable/visible at 50 yards in mixed lighting, barely usable/visible at 75 yards in pitch black, invisible at 75 yards in mixed lighting. Worthless at 100 yards in any lighting. The low on the pointer is great to 150, high to over 200+. An IR capable Surefire is MUCH more powerful than the DBAL I2.

2019年7月24日 · New to the whole laser game, but I recently ordered a DBAL i2 with the visible red and IR laser. Until I get funds together for a decent NVG setup, I would like to run both the visible laser with my Streamlight HL-X rail mount that has been converted to work with Surefire end cap/tape switches.

2016年7月10日 · On the I2 model with the illuminator, I assume the knobs on the IR side adjust the beam up and down like a real DBAL, or they're just disabled. On the A3 and the ATPIAL-C, the IR and visible lasers are slaved, so they just need one adjustment knob to do both.

2014年4月2日 · I just recently purchased a Dbal I2 used off the EE and both the laser port covers are dry rotting due to the dry weather in Cali (so says the previous owner). I found that LDI sells the replacement Exit Port cover for the visible laser but not the IR laser.

2022年1月25日 · It appears the Dbal-I2 9007 is the cheapest option that checks off both of the IR laser & Illuminator that is available in the US and has support. The I2 is Ok but from my experience the illuminator isn't the best. Depends on your application needs regarding range of use. Personally I like my A3 even if constrained by power.

2018年10月12日 · The A3, I2 9007 and the APTIAL C all suck IR illuminator huevos. 75-150 in extremely dark conditions, 300 yards is a wet dream for any of those mentioned. You want a powerful IR illuminator and want to be able to activate it with a single press of a button, so your choices are going to be a D2, MAWL C1+, or A4.

2018年2月3日 · I just picked up a DBAL I2, IR only. It will primarily ride on a 13.7” barrel, 13” Geiselle mk4 rail (mlok with 4 rails near the muzzle) and 1-6 strike eagle in G mount. My main gripe is it blocks a good portion of the FOV until about 2.5x when mounted on the top of the rail.
