2020年9月8日 · If you can receive Absolute Radio or Classic FM on DAB digital radio you should also receive DAB+ stations Heart 80s and Smooth Chill. Alternatively if you can tune into Planet Rock you should also be able to hear Union JACK. Being able to hear Heart 80s or Union JACK would confirm that DAB+ reception is possible.

The existing FM/AM aerials installed in most cars are not suitable for DAB reception. This means a new DAB aerial or splitter for an existing aerial is required. 2023年9月27日 · Digital radio stations Absolute 80s, Absolute Radio 90s, Mellow Magic, Planet Rock and Scala Radio will switch from DAB to DAB+ this Autumn. The music stations currently broadcast using the original DAB format. When they switch to DAB+ they will only be available on DAB digital radios which support the newer DAB+ format.
