Now, this has never been a problem before with locked fields, and typically Ctrl + A and F9 would update all unlocked fields and skip the locked ones.

When working on a merge document in Word, pressing Alt-F9 brings up the Windows search panel instead of toggling the field code. Ctrl-F9 also brings up the Window search instead of adding a blank field code. Is there a setting that is causing this? Laptop?
