Cribraria is a genus of slime molds from the group of Myxogastria. It comprises about 30 species, some of which are extremely difficult to distinguish. [2] The fruiting bodies are usually pedunculated sporangia, a calyculus may be present or absent.

[1] The mantle of this cowry is translucent bright orange-red. Cribrarula cribraria is one of the most recognizable cowries. The shells reach 10–44 millimetres (0.39–1.73 in) of length.
