Ordnance Survey of Ireland, One-inch to the mile maps of Ireland
The one-inch engraved maps of Ireland were based on larger scale surveys, and laid out on 205 sheets, numbered from north to south. The series is particularly useful in showing an overview of significant landscape features such as towns and villages, roads and railways, as well as woodland and land-use.
