2014年11月13日 · The Copal-MX is a leaf shutter made by Copal. It was introduced in 1955, with M/X dual synchronization and a B, 1–300 speed range. A new version appeared in 1956 with 1/500 top speed, and the Copal-MXL and Copal-MXV are later variants. Variants and cameras equipped (incomplete list, and not all variants are concerned):

Copal MXV Shutter. The Copal leaf shutters are Japanese manufactured shutters used on many rangefinder and TLR cameras. There are several variations of the shutter. The shutter shown here is an early version of the MXV with M and X flash synch, self-timer and full speed range from 1 to 1/500 sec. This shutter was working, but slow.

2010年2月13日 · The Copal MXV shutter is easily released from the lens mounting plate by unscrewing the taking lens barrel from the back of the shutter assembly. Now the shutter is free. Be sure to keep the stack of rings just as they are.

2024年10月13日 · It has a Copal MXV leaf shutter, capable of speeds ranging from B and 1 second to 1/500s. It offers flash sync at all speeds. The taking lens is a 3.5 Yashinon, an 80 mm four-element lens said to be of the Tessar design.

2018年5月17日 · If the Copal SV and MXV shutters in your camera (seen in Yashica TLR’s, among others) doesn’t fire, fires but is sticky on slow speeds, or has otherwise broken, chances are it’s a fault in the self timer. Thankfully there’s a easy fix; just take the self timer out.

She was overpriced, and I low-balled her, and we ended up meeting in the middle - which was still more than I wanted to pay, but I did it.

2024年4月4日 · Copal shutter MXV. Unsurprisingly it is quite similar to other Yashica TLRs. Manufacturer: Yashica. Introduced: 1958. Can do multiple exposures – just don’t wind the film. Nice actuation. Weight: 950g (actual).

2016年11月24日 · The Yashica-D would represent the top of the line knob wind model and would feature most of the other enhancements of the Yashica-Mat including the Rollei-esque shutter speed and aperture control wheels, Bay 1 filter mounts, Copal-MXV shutter with speeds from 1-1/500 seconds, and an integrated frame counter.
