2019年12月14日 · Thanks for looking. I built an A2 clone in 2010 and used a Colt stock body. I kept the Colt door assembly, but swapped it for a commercial one (RRA I thought) because it was aluminum and the Colt was plastic. If it wasn't RRA then it was DPMS. Commercial doors have ranged from plastic to Chinese pot metal, and quality aluminum.

2021年4月30日 · This is the one circumstance where you WANT a Colt branded product. Colt is one of only 2 sources where you can obtain a 7075 rifle receiver extension (notice the OP specified A2 and NOT m4 receiver extension). 99% of all the A2 rifle tubes available for sale on the commercial market are 6061. 7075 is roughly twice as strong as 6061 aluminum.
