What is Clicker 5? Clicker 5 is a package that allows you to make your own activities for students with a range of education and access abilities. You can make activities in Clicker 5 which provide lots of support using pictures or you can just use text.

Clicker 5 is the latest version of the award-winning Clicker. While Clicker 5 retains the familiar Clicker interface, it also offers great new features including almost-human UK English speech, pop-up grids and a completely new graphics library, as well as direct access to thousands of free downloadable resources from LearningGrids.com.

Clicker 5 is a talking word processor that has the added support of "grids" or word banks to help students write. In this project, you will learn the basics of how to use Clicker 5 and show what you've learned by creating a simple grid to support the students you work with.

Clicker 5 accepts a greater range of picture formats including the EMF files used by WWS2000's Widgit Symbol library. This means that you should be able to easily drag and drop Widgit and PCS symbols into Clicker, or add the entire library for symbol-supported learning. Clicker 5 also now accepts MP3 files and modern video formats such as MPEG.
