The 2015 case centered around Chanin and Clay Starbuck. The two were recently divorced. They had been arguing about finances and child custody. Chanin was found dead in her home, strangled and posed in a sexually explicit manner. Clay's DNA was found on Chanin's body, but DNA from other unidentified males was also present.
