2018年1月3日 · To follow up on @jefflambert9091 correct thinking, you may just have to do the clip in ESRI ArcMap and export topo data out as a .shp (of the contours) or better yet, a streamlined .xyz point file that you can just point to externally to build a Surface in Civil 3D.

2017年11月30日 · I'm working on a pilot project in Civil 3D 2018. My existing surface is quite large, and upon import of LandXML, I'm presented with the MMS file in same folder notification - so be it, it seems to help the drawing open slightly faster.

2018年2月7日 · I need to create a surface from a LiDar point cloud which includes all Ground (ASPRS Classification 2), Road Surface (ASPRS Classification 11), and Bridge Deck (ASPRS Classification 17) points for a floodplain study using Civil 3D 2018. I have used ReCap to convert the LAS files to RCS files which can be referenced into Civil 3D as Point Clouds.

2017年12月6日 · Well, shoot - I've only been using Civil 3D 2018 for a few hours now, and it's already back to being bogged down when selecting Civil 3D Objects. Alignment Station Offset Labels seem to be the worst, with a 2-3 second lag on selection, followed by a 1+ second lag when deselecting.
