Besides Chrollo's strength, I also really want to see his character get fleshed out more, along with the rest of the Phantom Troupe. They're all really interesting, especially Chrollo.

It’s heavily implied in the anime that the exorcist removed the chains from Chrollo. At the end of Greed Island arc you see a shot of the Exorcist going with the Troupe to cure Chrollo. Also at the Elections arc Illumi remarks that Hisoka has been busy chasing Chrollo not noticing the Chimera Ants deal which again implies that Chrollo was cured.
