Sergio awards Charizard the win, defeating a Legendary Pokémon, and giving Ash his first Battle Frontier Symbol, the Knowledge Symbol, in the process. Noland also hands Ash a Frontierfolio to store all of his future Symbols in. Afterward, Articuno sets off once again and Charizard heads back to the Charicific Valley .

When Articuno hits Charizard with its following Ice Beam, Charizard is briefly drawn with three wing tips, wherein his right wing has two of them overlapping. When Meowth exclaims how catching Articuno at full power is going to be impossible, his right arm is drawn fatter than his left.

Upon seeing the Articuno he has made friends with Ash has decided to challenge Noland and Articuno. To face them he has called in an old friend, Charizard has returned. As the episode begins Ash is putting Charizard through its paces to get catched up and get a feel for its new strength and moves.

Given the chance to choose his opponent in his first ever Battle Frontier battle, Ash surprises everyone by choosing to face the legendary Pokémon Articuno. Planning to pit Fire against Ice, Ash calls his Charizard from the Charicific Valley to assist him in this one match.

Dawn, and Ash is getting Charizard ready for its battle against Articuno. He can see that Charizard has grown stronger since they last saw each other and asks it to show him some of its attacks. Charizard does so and unleashes a huge Flamethrower into the sky.

Now he's busy training with Charizard, who has gotten even stronger during its time in the Charicific Valley. Team Rocket, secretly watching from the roof of the Battle Factory, are hopeful they can snatch the impressive Pokémon for themselves ...

Will he prevail and get his first Battle Frontier win and the Knowledge Symbol? I saw some pics, and heard a synopsis for this episode, and it seems to be a fantastic episode.
