2023年7月13日 · Chara is only referred to in-game and out of it from official sources by they/them or as it/its. Their gender is yes, but I mostly saw Chara and Frisk as a girl when I first saw them. Still do but I wouldn’t really care if anyone saw them as a boy or genderless. Male? Female? It's a human, who cares. (Let's see who gets this reference...) Girl.

Chara also has rosy cheeks, a typically feminine trait. And now, this one is a bit more of a stretch, but consider how Asriel seems to take after his father, specifically in saying "Howdy!" like his father does.
