I am thinking of buying Chamonix Pedestrian pass for 3 days which is costing me 120€. While purchasing the pass, it is asking me to pre-book the Aiguille du midi(ADM) slot. As I have read that this activity is very much weather dependent, so everyone advices to not to book this activity in advance (at least not more than 4 days).

Maybe but when I was in Chamonix in ‘01 we got a BNB on the day that we arrived in the middle of town that had just a few others staying there and there was hardly anyone around on the streets. So from personal experience I had no clue that it was meant to be a popular tourist destination because I hardly saw any.

I got her the "Savoy Jr" board, and after only 3 or 4 uses the entire bottom laminate came off in the middle of the run and she had to end up walking all the way down because the remaining board was rough and sticky and would not slide on the snow at all.

Option one is the Chamonix pass, option 2 is Mont Blanc pass The Mont Blanc pass covers all of Chamonix + a couple of extra resorts nearby like Courmayeur in Italy (bout 45m journey through the Mont Blanc tunnel) and I think they have a Swiss resort too.

2017年2月2日 · Chamonix is expensive by local standards, its not terrible by other standards. The unlimited is 62 euro a day (one of the most expensive passes in the area) and the chamonix pass is 50 euro a day. Unless your doing the midi or skiing in les houches, get the chamonix pass.

Great skiing all round, especially Chamonix but everything is very expensive. Get the 3 vallees pass so you can also ski Meribel and Val Thorens where its noticeably cheaper, including accomodation. Pack sandwiches. There are restaurants on the piste in Chamonix selling a whole roast chicken for a cool €250!
