2013年3月29日 · A carb 550 on a 180/182 is a hoot but would make for shorter legs if the plane does not have long range fuel. From a performance, resale, and durability issue to me there is no downside. Ive been around pponks on 180's/182's and tx skyways 550's on others. I like them both. My current 185 will get an IO-550 when overhaul time comes. Bill
