CDH17 - Wikipedia
Cadherin-17 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CDH17 gene. [5][6][7] This gene is a member of the cadherin superfamily, genes encoding calcium-dependent, membrane-associated glycoproteins.
Cadherin-17 (CDH17) expression in human cancer: A
2024年4月1日 · Cadherin-17 (CDH17) is a membranous cell adhesion protein predominantly expressed in intestinal epithelial cells. CDH17 is therefore considered a possible diagnostic and therapeutic target. This study was to comprehensively determine the expression of CDH17 in cancer and to further assess the diagnostic utility of CDH17 immunohistochemistry (IHC).
CDH17: A Safe CAR-T Target for Treatment of Solid Tumors
2022年7月19日 · CDH17 is a Ca2+-dependent cell adhesion molecule that can activate cell adhesion signals after binding to integrin molecules such as integrin α2β1 (Figure 2).

Cadherin 17 is related to recurrence and poor prognosis of …
In summary, this study demonstrated that the early recurrence and poor prognosis of CK19 (+) HCC may be due to the expression of CDH17, a gene known to be associated with vascular invasion, tumor metastasis, and advanced tumor stage of HCC. Thus, novel therapeutics by targeting CDH17 may be beneficial for CK19 (+) HCC.

2023年8月3日 · Results: Colorectal, gastric, pancreatic and cholangiocarcinoma patients have screened positive for CDH17 by semi-automated tissue immunostaining. Seven patients have completed dosing in the first 3 cohorts and have shown …
Targeting CDH17 in Cancer: When Blocking the Ligand Beats …
2018年1月15日 · In this issue of Clinical Cancer Research, Bartolomé and colleagues have taken a novel approach to prevent integrin-dependent tumorigenesis and metastasis by targeting the ligand instead of the receptor (1).
Tissue-specific cadherin CDH17 is a useful marker of ... - PubMed
Cadherin 17 (CDH17) is a cell adhesion molecule expressed in intestinal epithelium and transcriptionally regulated by CDX2. We compared the usefulness of CDH17 as an immunohistochemical intestinal marker to that of CDX2 in gastrointestinal and extragastrointestinal carcinomas and nonneoplastic tissues.
Tissue cadherin 17 (CDH17): A favorable prognostic determinant …
2023年5月31日 · Cadherin 17 (CDH17) is a validated biomarker for CRC characterized by its overexpression in tumor tissues (Zheng et al., 2021). CDH17 expression in tissue samples can be reliably detected by immunohistochemistry (IHC), which could potentially provide useful information for malignancy monitoring and prognosis.
