2025年2月5日 · The nose gets treated with saline (on a cotton pad) and a dab of vaseline 2-3x a day (especially after eating; I use what's left on the pad to clean the food off of her chin since she can't groom her face).

2016年8月16日 · I recently noticed some discoloration of the fur on the bridge of my cat's nose. It gets lighter, but it never completely goes away. I'm not sure if he's licking his nose excessively or what could be causing this. I haven't noticed any abnormal cleaning behavior from him. It typically shows up as brown in the morning, and then it fades.

2008年12月9日 · My poor cat is so sick, I have taken him to the vet and he is on antibiotics and an antihistamine. All of the mucus in his head is so loose it sounds like he is drowning in it sometimes. I was wondering if it was safe to a nasal aspirator like you use on infants to suck some the snot out of his nose.

2018年7月22日 · Ok, so I took my cat to the vet since she was very congested and she was sneezing a lot. The vet did a physical examination and explained to me that she may have URI so she prescribed amoxicillin and clavulanate( it's one pill) for two weeks. So I have been giving my cat the antibiotics and she is still congested.

Shes had it since she was a kitten, I brought her to the vet and they said it's harmless and they also touched it and doesn't seem to be in pain. that was a year ago and I am planning on taking her to the vet again but was looking on here to see if anyone had any answers. 2013年8月2日 · Fortunately, I've had better luck in getting a congested cat to eat. We usually warm up our cat's food like you'd do when warming food for a baby. It brings out the aroma, and if it's a little stinkier, it can help to tempt a sick cat's appetite. We also feed him baby food meat that doesn't contain any garlic or onion, which can be toxic to cats.

My Siberian cat had this problem too. Probably came from the food according to my vet.But it's safe and you don't have to worry here. 2009年1月22日 · Shrink Swollen Membranes: You can give your cat Afrin Children's Strength nose drops (.025 percent). On the first day give 1 drop to one nostril. On the second day give one drop to the second nostril. Continue this pattern for 5 to 7 days. I've already start things rolling with the vaporizer, measuring her water intake, etc.

I traveled for 15 days and left him in the care of a friend, and a few days after I came back I noticed he has a mild inflammation on the skin above his mouth, so I took him to the vet.
