2019年5月11日 · 2 hours later they call me up and say car wow won’t accept the price. I go in later that day and the closest they can get is 2k more. I say no thanks and get my deposit refunded. What a waste of time. Apparently carwow added the grant twice. It’s still showing the deal now! Anyone else encounter similar shenanigans?

Doing a trade in might be too much hassle given they wont give a set price on my car until i go to collect new car so potentially getting kicked on price at last minute stc. I cant be bothered selling privately. Too much hassle.

By giving a difference between the claimed miles and the actual on a given day with the different cars as competitors, you get a sense of how far they realistially drive. TBH, the last few miles they eek out are pointless because noone would really do that.
