2023年4月27日 · The City of Canyon Lake logo was designed by Carl Blomquist and unveiled during Fiesta Day on May 25, 1991. The City of Canyon became the 22nd city in Riverside County when it was incorporated on December 1, 1990. A contest was held to create a logo for the newly incorporated city.

Canyon Lake is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reservoir formed on the Guadalupe River in Comal County by Canyon Dam, which is located about sixteen miles northwest of New Braunfels. The dam, lake, and all adjacent property are managed by the U.S. Army Corps Of Engineers.

Canyon Lake is a private, gated community located halfway between Lake Elsinore and Sun City, California. With a current population just over 11,000 residents, this recreation-oriented community also has the distinction of being a fully governed city.

2017年4月26日 · After six weeks of flooding, the amazing Canyon Lake Gorge formed when a torrent of floodwaters carved a new canyon, plunging nearly 80 feet at its deepest, and exposed a fault line which was previously unrecorded, together with hidden rock formations, fossils, and new dinosaur footprints!

2024年5月27日 · In honor of Memorial Day, Canyon Lake residents Linda and Bill Medved displayed a White Table on the deck of their lakefront home. The White Table is a powerful symbol of remembrance for service members who have fallen, gone missing, or been held captive in the line of duty.

Canyon Lake was formed following the construction of Mormon Flat Dam from 1923-25 by USDI, Bureau of Reclamation. Salt River Project manages the dam for water storage and power generation. (A historical marker located near Fort McDowell in Maricopa County, Arizona.)
