In addition to a high-resolution 1/1.8″ 4-megapixel CCD sensor, the PowerShot G3 combines an increased optical magnification of 4x (equivalent to 35-140 mm in 35 mm format) with a bright f/2.0-3.0 lens, for enhanced imaging performance.
