The final two scenes, Indy saying “we’re out of fish” and Calypso saying “There’s someone I think you should meet”, are the ultimate full circle punchlines. So a US-born Calypso would be no older than 27 as of S1E17, Calypso. If she's not 27, then she'd be 24, which is younger than our lower age limit, and thus can be discarded.

How could Calypso have known that Bluey's journey would be positive and productive, rather than frustrating and pointless?

I absolutely adore Calypso. Her voice is the most soothing voice I’ve ever heard, I love the satisfying scratchiness of it. And when she sings! ugh. But of course, I especially love how she smoothly redirects children to play and build relationships with one another almost effortlessly.
