So I track underneath, then where appropriate, change layer to come back to the top. to me this is logical, but Cadstar will not place another via to come back to the top layer. So I leave the track unfinished on the bottom layer.

Consider the pen width of a pen plotter (which the settings are still based on) and copper cannot be drawn any thinner than the pen (outline) width.

Then whats on screen at that time will be used to create the file. You are better off using the manufacturing export, batch process and using colour files to create a set of Gerbers for each layer.

2002年12月29日 · how to import dxf in cadstar The items you want to export need to have the attribute 'DXFTransfer' applied to them. Just define an attribute 'DXFTransfer' and then assign it to everything you want to export. Cadstar is a pain in the arse, I find it easier to go to artwork and DXF, then print to a file, then load that file with autocad.

2011年5月18日 · You will need to make a mapping file, this is used to tell CADSTAR what layer in the DXF objects are that need importing into CADSTAR. Select"Create Map" and name it, then select "Edit Map" and select the units the DXF was drawn in, what layer the figures of your sheet border are on for the "outline" and what layer the text is on.
