2018年12月21日 · Hi everyone, I have a nooby question. In the service manual of the ATS-V, the car doesn't have a central front jacking point that other ATS models have. The only official jacking points are the four pinch welds. What area should I use to jack the car from the front, if I want to put jack stands at the two pinch welds? Thank you so much!

I’m assuming Cadillac didn’t use a V8 in the ATS not because they wanted it to compete with members in its size class but because it would have been faster than the CTS. Because of the weight difference I believe the ATS is pound for pound superior than the CTS.

Fun fact the ATS-V.R was a purpose built race car that preceded the civilian ATS-V. That race car’s engine was basically identical to the engine in the ATS-V.

2017年6月24日 · FWIW the ATS does 60-0 in 115ft and the ATS-V does 60-0 in 101ft. Stopping from higher speeds repeatedly would widen the gap. For those that don't track their car, upgrading the stock ATS pads to more aggressive material would help narrow the gap without spending the cash for new calipers, rotors, pads, hubs, and wheels (to do it right).
