2018年2月23日 · Until the arrival of the lease unit, G&U had attracted locomotive enthusiasts’ attention by relying on a roster of elderly EMDs, including GP7U, GP9, GP9R, CF7, and F7 models. The three roster additions are ex-CSX Nos. 1158, 1160, and 1191, built as Seaboard Coast Line Nos. 4008, 4010, and 4221 in 1977-1978.

The York Railway owns three ex-Santa Fe CF7 diesels: #1500 (the last such locomotive built), 1502 and 1504 that were usually operated as a pair, and alternated to equalize operating hours. The railroad also operates ex-CSX EMD GP16 diesels #1600, 1602, 1604 and 1606 as well as a pair of LTEX GP15-1s numbered 1414 and 1444.

2025年1月3日 · My buddy calls these pugs as their bulbus cab profiles resemble one. Later versions got an angular cab design very similar to the CSX SD-40 rebuilds. Santa Fe really got their money's worth out of those F Units these are based on. Many are still on the rails today.
