2011年7月15日 · The last year of the the CR500's was 2001, but there was also CRE500's made in 2002. CR500 with a lighting coil and headlight. The rod length grew 5 mm in 1987, and thus the '87 and up engines are 5 mm taller than the earlier versions.

2012年3月21日 · For trivia sake, the 1982-84 big bore hondas (450, 480 and air cooled 500) didn't have exhaust bridges or auxilliary ports, and I understand that the air cooled '84 CR500 may have been the fastest mx bike Honda ever made. If I was needing max output, as in a drag race or hill climb engine, my exhaust port wouldn't be the hindrance.

2017年12月3日 · Anyone else running a Lectron carb on their CR500, how does it run, any problems? I have a fresh rebuilt 1998 500 and after trying to set the pj I decided to try out a 40mm lectron. Not sure if it’s just me but it slips on and doesn’t seem to fit the inlet or outlet too great. It goes on but looks like it could go on more.

2011年7月3日 · hey guys. im looking at buying some twin chamber forks for my 01 cr500. either late model cr250 or crf 450/250. has anybody tried this or do they have any information that might be of some assistance? i can use the same front wheel but think ill need new wheel spacers, brake caliper and brake axle. what years will fit? 03-04?

2017年3月8日 · Yes I rode AJs first 500AF back to back against my 97 CR500 steel frame, now granted the suspension MX Tech set it for AJ so it was way to soft but felt cramped foot pegs too high handle bars too low and close KX was a couch with a tractor engine, that power valve made all the difference to me anyways.

2009年6月28日 · The engine in my '87 CR500 was probably the fastest I've ever owned. Very impressive. It also had great forks. If you want bottom end, the '85 was all about that but the suspension wasn't so great and it only had a front disc brake. From the newer 500's I've owned, I would go with a '96 or newer.

2019年7月9日 · Well CR500 fans after many false starts i finally got to put a decent ride on the big Honda on Sunday with its new DEP pipe. It took me so long to get a ride on it i might as well got exactly what i originally wanted out of the States.
