Red Baron GP-7 1523 pushes a trainset west from a station stop at Bound Brook NJ on a very cold but clear day after Christmas, 1976. A pair of "Red Barron" Geeps pass each other at the Bound Brook train station on a very cold 12/26/76. This paint scheme was also know as the "Coast Guard" scheme. The Red Baron lives!!

I've read that CNJ paint like 5680 looked so ragged with a CR patch was because CR started washing them, and the CNJ paint job was just poor to begin with. I wonder what the story is behind 5807 working that far west.

A few images of CNJ GP7 1531. This unit was originally built as 1526 (1 of 13 units, 1520-1532) with a steam generator and a train lighting unit for passenger service. It was one of the two GP7's involved in the Newark Bay Draw Bridge disaster in 1958.
