CBP works with the American Council on Education (ACE) College Credit and Recommendation Service (ACE CREDIT®) to gain college credit recommendations for CBP workplace training programs.

The CBP Field Operations Academy came to FLETC – Charleston in 2007. In addition to offering basic-level programs in the areas of Trade and Spanish, the Academy’s Charleston Division offers advanced-level instruction for journeymen officers on a variety of topics.

2023年4月10日 · When class session 583 reported to the Border Patrol Basic Academy in Artesia, New Mexico on October 20, 2004, it marked the beginning of a new era in U.S. Border Patrol training history, with operations unified in a single location for the first time in several years.

The CBP Border Patrol Academy provides the initial training program for entering Agents with course topics that include Operations, Firearms, Physical Techniques, Driver Training and the Spanish Language.

The CBP Border Patrol Academy is recognized as having one of the most challenging curriculums in federal law enforcement. All newly hired Border Patrol Agents receive their basic law enforcement skills by attending the Academy.

Providing direction and oversight for Border Patrol related functions within an assigned area. Supervising, managing, or directing operational programs and their appropriate support functions.
