2020年4月15日 · That's right. 'gum' is a kind of sticky substance that stretches, is really malleable and so forth, sticks to things / holds things together (think chewing gum); rubber, on the other hand, you'd expect to be more durable, have a stronger 'rebound' when stretched, and be very useful (think rubber band).

2022年8月18日 · Razor returns the ball towards Gon/Killua/Hisoka and Hisoka returns the ball back to Razor and the ball stuck onto Razor and said his Bungee Gum has rubber+gum properties hence it stuck onto Razor. Hisoka's Bungee Gum : r/HunterXHunter - Reddit
2023年5月15日 · Basically, I think Hisoka's Bungee Gum is the same as Killua's electricity thing. In other words, to develop his Nen to have the properties of both rubber and gum, he must have chewed this gum so much (i.e. was exposed to it) that he was able to manipulate his Nen into this. This is where the speculation kinda properly kicks in.

Plus, to stop really powerful attacks with the gum, you need a body that can endure the attack, or Hisoka's arms would get ripped off or simply be unable to absorb the impact.
How did Hisoka create/develop bungee gum? (scenario exploration)
2022年11月5日 · Now, knowing regular gum doesn't behave the way Bungee gum does (having the properties of both rubber and gum) I figured that a lot of it was based on his imagination. My headcannon was that bungeegum was just a regular chewing gum brand that was advertised a lot when Hisoka was a kid.
Hisoka's Bungee Gum trick. [spoilers] How could that work?
2020年2月13日 · Hisoka in one of his fights allowed his opponent to sever his arms. He reattached them surreptitiously using his Bungee Gum trick combined with his Texture Surprise trick, making it look like his arms spontaneously healed. Problems I have. 1) How does either bungee gum or texture surprise allow him to use his reattached arm?
What do you think is the condition of Bungie Gum?
2017年8月25日 · There is no condition. Bungee gum is very simple and versatile, and what makes it dangerous is, you know, Hisoka. He's a clever bastard. But honestly, Bungee Gum is an example of a great hatsu. It's simple, doesn't require much from the user (physically and mentally), and can be used in a lot of situations.

2019年2月11日 · I was watching dodgeball match, when Hisoka throws the ball with full speed, but two of Razor's devils merge and catch the ball forcing Hisoka to release Bungee gum, which means a strong person can break Bungee gum. But it is clearly implied that if Hisoka puts Bungee gum onto you, you're done for as if you cannot detach yourself from it.
