I like Buck and Tanto, so that's why I bought the knife, and the price seemed about right for what I was paying for other Buck large fixed blade knives. This Night Hawk by Buck Knives features a black clip point hollow ground blade with false top edge, .232" blade stock and 1.205" blade depth, hidden tang construction with a rubber grip. Comes with a black nylon sheath. Has a few light scuffs, otherwise excellent condition.

The Nighthawk is 1/4 inches thick made from bucks usual 420hc with the famous Paul Bros Heat treat. Partial full tang, the fiberglass handle covers this fact - its one tough tactical knife. I stropped the knife edge to clean up the grind lines. I never used this 653 myself as I collect them & have a couple personal use 653's.
