2024年11月3日 · I have recently acquired two Buck fixed blades. The 119 is a single line, meaning the marking on the blade is "BUCK" only. The 120 is a two line, reading BUCK/USA. The "one line" was made between 1961 to 1967, (for this knife, the 1961 to part of 1962 time frame is ruled out because the earliest ones were made with a screw pommel)....

2011年9月23日 · The Buck General 120 is available only used or as one of the plethora of "commemorative" type issues over the years. It is a very useful knife, good size (IMO) takes and holds a good edge and will do/survive things that would wilt other knives.

I know the 124 is a lot more heavy duty, but the 120 or 119 are up to most tasks you should legitimately ask a knife to do. I have had a 120 for 35 or more years and it has never let me down as a camp knife.
