Bronington is a village, ecclesiastical parish and community in the Wrexham in Wales. Before 1974 the village was in the historic county of Flintshire and, between 1974 and 1996 in the County of Clwyd.

Bronington History Introduction. The core of the modern village of Bronington follows a minor road that lies immediately to the west of the A495 Ellesmere to Whitchurch road, with the latter approximately 6km to the south-west. The village lies on low and generally level land with the peat mosses of Fenn’s and Whixall less than 2km to the south.

Bronington lies two miles north of the Shropshire border, and was historically in the county of Flintshire. Bronington falls within the unitary authority of Wrecsam - Wrexham. It is in the SY13 postcode district.

Bronington is a parish in the Maelor detached part of Flintshire. It corresponds to the townships of Bronington and Tybroughton in the ancient parish of Hanmer with Iscoed from the ancient parish of Malpas.
