King Gambrinus, one of the five patron saints of beer, has been an icon for City Brewery since his first appearance in 1939. Standing tall and proud right across the street from the world's largest six-pack, tourists come and take pictures with the king all year-round.

Brewery History. This Southern California site was once home to the Irwindale Raceway, a 3800 foot NHRA dragstrip from 1965-‘73. In 1980, Miller Brewing Company purchased the land and built the brewery.

Brewing. The Brewhouse in La Crosse is the kitchen of the brewery, which cooks the grains and hops, according to recipe, to produce a sweet fermentable liquid called wort which, after undergoing fermentation, will become beer.

Blues City Brewery, our Memphis facility, was started in 1971 by Schlitz Brewing Company. They have a dedicated micro lab that runs tests to acquire total plate count, yeast and mold count, water plating, sanitation monitoring and much more.
