The most interesting part about this museum is that visitors are allowed to touch and feel the real human brain on request. Some of the highlights of the collection are a brain with worms in it, brains affected by Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease, smoker’s lungs, and electro-micrographs showing the complexity of the nervous system.

NIMHANS Brain Museum, located in Bengaluru, India, is a unique medical science museum dedicated to the study and education of the human brain. The museum houses over 400 human brain samples displayed in transparent jars, showcasing various brain infections, injuries, tumors, and even the lungs of a smoker.

The museum has an amazing collection of brains. Daphne conducted an excellent tour where she first went over the parts of a human brain. We were able to hold and examine brains, spinal cord, heart, liver, lungs, kidney and other organs. She then gave us an overview of all the diseased and injured brains in their collection.

This museum, which exhibits numerous brain infections, brain tumours, head traumas, and smoker's lungs, is not suitable for those with weak hearts. Only On Wednesday, 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm, and Saturday, 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, 2:30 pm to 4;30 pm. Free entry.

Along with humans, there were brain sample of many animals too. Not only the brains, there were specimens of remarkable lungs, and lungs damaged by pollution. It is so fascinating to see how a fetus grows within a few weeks. And at the end, they have a surprise for everyone. The guide took out the surprise from the table hidden under the cloth.
