2021年10月13日 · In his bid to remain a typeface designer who leaves historical records and messages about our lives, Bouk has turned to two literary icons, Faust and Tartuffe, as starting points for some of his work.

Faust is an experimental typeface created by Bouk Ra, expressing the agony and corruption of Faust, a character in German legend. The deformed serifs and wide alternates create a drastic rhythm throughout the typeface and is available in two styles – ‘& Wagner’, ‘& Mephisto’

Bouk Ra began his career as a graphic designer after graduating from a visual communication school in Paris, but has fallen in love with typeface design and has drawn various experimental typefaces. Actually, he is designing typefaces in collaboration with foundries in the world.
